This page contains the studio projects that I conceptualized and developed as a student at Arizona State University. Each semester provided a framework for a project and location, and the work was completed individually or as part of a group. I am only including work that I completed individually. Further, the projects have been scaled to fit the website, and the image quality and clarity may vary based on your screen size and browser.

My interest in architecure, construction and landscaping began as a child, traveling with my father as he planned his development projects. I was captivated at the opportunity to be on construction sites. I was also able to join my father at The Great Lakes School of Log Building in Isabella, Minnesota, to learn the craft of construction with logs.
I have watched and built various types of projects from concept to completion. I have personally evolved, innovated, and grown over the years, and the business has evolved with me. Although, it might have been the other way around!
Attending school at Arizona State University was not my first attempt at a design degree. I have enrolled in design programs in the past, although they were unaccredited, or there was miscommunication that created obstacles to completing a degree. The necessity to earn a degree in architecture required a willingness to leave the state of Montana.
I have expansive design limits and architectural interests. My preference is unordinary projects that would otherwise be considered challenging. I like to reimagine places that embrace the way we live, recreate, and remember. I enjoy the architectural ability to take a square space and impose modifications that create connection.
The academic courses at Arizona State have given me an opportunity to explore and study various projects, from recreational trailhead facilities, multi-family housing, industrial laboratories, and United States Embassies and Consulates.
